Grasshopper measures compressed sward height to the millimetre as you walk, and you decide the moment each drop is taken. By the time you're back at the yard the wedge is drawn, the map is shaded, and the grazing plan knows which paddock is next.

Drops become a cover, a wedge, an average, a growth rate and a grazing planner, the moment the walk is saved.

Act on it
Move the herd, allocate a strip fence, close a paddock for silage, then let the figures go on to PastureBase, AgriNet or whoever needs them.
